Podcast: October 10th Bob Long Sports Radio Show

In this week’s Bob Long Sports Radio Show, we discussed the MLB Playoffs, including the early exit of the Philadelphia Phillies, and all the storylines that come with that, including, is the window closed for Philadelphia, what is the future of Ryan Howard, and more (Start-32:10).  Next, we hit the ALCS and NLCS series, previewing, predicting, and highlighting the big stories (32:10-41:10).  We then dove into our NFL talk, including a recap of the Bills vs. Eagles game, what fans might not be considering about the Bills defense, and the future of the Eagles and Andy Reid (43:00-1:08:10).  Next, we recapped the Penn State football game over the weekend (1:10:30-1:26:10), updated the Big East/Big XII/TCU situation, and gave insight on how the dominoes might fall in the conference realignment picture after the recent changes (1:26:10-1:33:45).  We disclosed the updated Bob Long Sports Top 25 in college football, and highlighted the big Top 25 talking points (1:33:45-1:40:35).  We played the interview that was conducted with Guy Gadowski, the Penn State Men’s Hockey Coach, at the Hockey Media Day late last week (1:40:00-1:46:40), and then interpreted the interview after (1:46:40-1:50:15).  We closed the show with a NHL regular season preview and hit the biggest storylines (1:50:15-Finish).
